SPECIFICATION:
The coal deactivation unit (UDU) is designed to work with equipment that supplies water aerosols to the mined-out areas of operating production faces (longwalls) with the purpose of preventing endogenous fires.
The UDU unit operation is based on the water flow passing at 0.1 m/s through a magnetic field of the permanent magnet of 2400 oersted resulting in magnetic water which causes coal oxidizing deactivation.
The UDU unit is technologically effective and efficient at low cost for protective treatment of coal losses in the mined-out areas.
