The plant produces 101 models of industrial equipment certified according to GOST Rosstandart, ISO and CU technical regulations.
The equipment produced by the plant ensures compliance with the relevant points of the "Safety Rules in Coal Mines", "Safety Rules for the Development of Coal Deposits in an Open Way" and basin instructions.

1968
Joint Stock Company “Kemerovo Experimental Plant of Security Means” (JSC KEZSB) was founded on 01.01.1968 by order of the Ministry of Coal Industry of the USSR No. 548 as “Experimental Plant VostNII”.
Development of industrial designs was carried out on the basis of the plant safety equipment for underground work. -

02/01/1994 by the order of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of the Russian Federation "Experimental plant VostNII" was renamed into "Kemerovo experimental plant of security equipment".

1998
Construction of the first heat and power complex MTEU-VNU has begun.
Today KEZSB is a coordinating partner in a consortium of enterprises that creates air heating units for industrial enterprises and mine workings. In 1998-2020, 36 MTEU-VNU were built. -

2001
On August 29, 2001, by order No. 166-r of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the KEZSB was renamed into the Federal State Unitary Enterprise “Kemerovo Experimental Plant of Security Means” of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation and became a part of the VGSP structure.
