The filter is designed for cleaning water from mechanical impurities to enhance reliability of water-spraying and fire-fighting systems in mining conditions at positive ambient temperatures.
The filter is made as a hydraulic cyclone.
The filter is connected directly to the fire sprinkler pipe via an inlet nipple. The outlet nipple is connected to the supply branch of the hydraulic sprinkler or fire-fighting system.
The filter is washed by supplying water with an open slurry discharge valve.
