It is designed to connect trailing cables (4-and 5- conductor cables) of drill rigs and shovels during surface mining operations in three-phase networks with insulated neutral and voltage of 6 kV.
4 mm steel walls of the box reliably protect connecting elements from mechanical damage and environmental impact. Special skids allow it to be dragged and provide additional protection from rain and snow. The box lid is opened only with a special key which prevents unauthorized tampering. The lid opening locking mechanism provides for preliminary deenergizing of blades and removal of residual cable capacitive voltage.
Operating temperature range — from -50 °С to +45 °С.
The environment is not explosive, does not contain acid vapors, aggressive gases and conductive dust at concentrations that reduce the product parameters to an unacceptable level.
